Core AI Module: Understanding diagnostic results

PMcardio for Individuals reliably detects 49 ECG conditions, including infarctions, rhythms, arrhythmias, heart blocks, axis, measurements and others. The full list of supported diagnoses is available at https://www.powerfulmedical.com/pmcardio-supported-diagnoses/. 

Practically, the diagnostic results are grouped into two AI modules: the ACS AI Module and the Core AI Module. In this article, we'll only discuss the Core AI Module. For more information about the ACS AI Module, please read here.

Core AI Module

In addition to the ACS AI module, PMcardio evaluates 48 ECG conditions within the Core AI module:

• Rhythms & Arrhythmias: bradycardia, tachycardia, atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, idioventricular rhythm, wide QRS rhythm, etc.
• Conduction Abnormalities (Heart Blocks): 1st degree, 2nd degree, higher degree, complete and incomplete, fascicular, bifascicular, trifascicular blocks, etc.
• Axis: normal axis and axis deviations
• Measurements: heart rate, P wave, PR, QRS, QT/QTc intervals, etc.
• Other: suspected long QT syndrome, suspected short QT syndrome, premature complexes, suspected atrial enlargement, suspected ventricular hypertrophy.

The Core AI Module consists of 3 components, which you can see in PMcardio under each report's detail:

• Overall ECG assessment - Core AI: The diagnostic results of the Core AI Module appear underneath the ACS AI Module result (Note: low confidence diagnostic indicators are only available in the Pro Plan) 
• ECG measurements - Core AI: only available in the Pro Plan
• BPM: only available in the Pro Plan
