Please follow a step-by-step tutorial below:
1. When you log into the app for the first time, you will be welcomed by a tutorial on the Home screen:
2. You can either try a sample ECG by pressing the blue Try PMcardio now
button, or you can upload your own ECG by pressing the blue + button at the bottom of the screen.
3. To upload your ECG, you can either take a photo of the ECG directly with the PMcardio camera (Important: you'll need to allow the camera permissions) or you can upload it from your phone's picture gallery:
4. By default, the single-page ECG format is selected initially, but if you have a 2-page or 4-page ECG or if you wish to upload your ECG in two or four parts, simply click on the Change layout
button in the PMcardio camera to switch to a 2-page or a 4-page format. PMcardio will remember your last ECG-format selection for the next photo upload.
Note: All the standard and Cabrera 12-lead ECG formats are supported by PMcardio, with automatic format detection for 1-page ECGs. You can find more details and visualizations of the supported formats in this article.
5. To continue with the ECG report creation after you've uploaded your ECG photo, make sure you have the correct paper speed and voltage gain selected, and click Get results
Note: PMcardio supports only the following paper speed and voltage gain settings:
6. After you click Get results
PMcardio will digitize and interpret the ECG in a matter of seconds.
7. If PMcardio finds any signs suggestive of STEMI / STEMI equivalent on the ECG, the application will ask you to confirm the patient's clinical presentation before showing you the final diagnostic result and the digitized report with all the details (more information here).
For ECGs where PMcardio doesn't find any signs suggestive of STEMI / STEMI equivalent, it will immediately show you the digitized report with all the details.
